Though I can’t say the crowds ever bother me here, New York is all about its people! To avoid most of the crowds, head across at first light. To this day, it’s still one of my favourite viewpoints in New York and well worth the stroll. Here, you can stroll over the Brooklyn Bridge, hire a bicycle or skate (if you’ve brought your rollerskates) and see the amazing views along the way. You see, the Brooklyn Bridge connects Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn Heights (facing Manhattan) that’s always good on a sunny day. It’s almost like our own little ritual now! It doesn’t matter what neighbourhood I visit, I have to walk across the river to Dumbo or Lower Manhattan. This has almost become a staple for me when visiting New York City.
